Endowment Fund Established for Work in India

Look what God has done! Throughout Hobert and Marguerite Howard’s 56 years of ministry,the Lord has shown Himself mighty, and they are seeing the fruit of the Gospel message in India.

For several years, the Howard family has discussed the need to help perpetuate evangelism and church-planting work in India. The country’s government has not issued missionary visas for many years and is unlikely to do so before the Howards retire and others take their place. These disturbing facts led them to establish a fund to endow the work and to assist their schools and Bible-training institutions. The interest from endowment funds invested in the United States will go to India, allowing the Howards’ ministry to continue long after their retirement — and hopefully until Jesus comes.

It will take a large amount of money to generate suffi cient interest funds to help support the work, and the Howards are personally making a sacrifi cial donation, but if each does his or her part, many needs can be met. Please consider joining this venture.

There are several ways you can contribute: (1) a one-time gift, (2) a monthly gift, (3) periodic gifts, (4) stocks, bonds, and annuities, and (5) adding a codicil to your will to endow the India work. All gifts to the endowment will be tax deductible.

The Howards say, “Words are inadequate to express our deep gratitude to those of you who have faithfully supported us through these many years. Because we know you love us and are burdened for India’s millions, we feel free to open our hearts and request you to join us in prayer regarding establishing an endowment. The beautiful thing about the endowment is that your gifts will continue to bless the Church in India for years to come. It will perpetuate the work in which we have invested our lives.”
