In January, I traveled to Haiti, the poorest nation in the Western hemisphere, and saw how People to People is working with your support to impact the lives of thousands of individuals and bringing transformation to this nation. Haiti is a nation with no infrastructure, no economic stability, and no hope for change. In fact, the people struggle each day just to have enough food to survive. However, spiritual and physical hope is being given as People to People Ministries partners with our 46 churches and 6 schools in Haiti, to feed, educate and provide medical assistance to over 2,000 children each day. These children are also taught biblical truths and encouraged in their spiritual development. Bishop Abraham stated, “These children are the future leaders of our churches and our nation. They will grow up to be lawyers, businessmen, and political leaders. Among these children is a future president of Haiti.” Praise the Lord for these future men and women who will change this nation through Godly principles.
Presently, the ministry in Haiti is struggling to meet the needs of our church as well as the nation. Traveling to the various schools and churches is very difficult and continual repair on the vehicles which deliver the food and supplies are needed. In fact, $1,200 was spent on truck repairs in January. Also, the ministry is in need of upgrades on their communication and computer equipment in order to meet our reporting requirements. If you can assist in meeting these needs of the ministry in Haiti, please make a special contribution to Project #2 Haiti. This ministry is truly deserving of your consideration.
Again, thank you for your continued support of People to People Ministries. Your generosity is truly changing the lives of children around the world.
